  • The Void Walker class is a new specialty class which starts with the Void Staff, which will open up all nearby void rooms for the cost of 5 mana.
  • The inventory now lets you read the descriptions of passive and active items you acquire, as well as how much mana the active items will take to use.
  • Mana star containers are now available, which increase max mana by one.
  • The Teleport spell can be acquired, which teleports the character to another room for two mana.
  • The Shadow Walking boots can be acquired, which slightly raises the player's speed and has a small chance to open a room to the Void upon clearing a room.
  • The Ring of the Void can be acquired, which has a small chance to open a room to the Void upon clearing a room.
  • The Bag of Coins can be acquired, which adds to the player's coin total when used. The value is 1, 5 or 10 coins, with higher amounts of coins being rarer (and affected by luck).
  • Gold rocks have a low chance of spawning. They always drop money when blown up.
  • Rocks, skulls, etc. has a much lower chance of spawning pickups when blown up now.
  • Rooms now have a reduced chance of spawning pickups. This chance is improved by the character's luck stat.
  • Rooms adjacent to the player (excluding secret and void rooms) are now revealed on the map.
  • Rooms that have been revealed but not explored are faded on the map.
  • Shops now have a random item on sale for half price.
  • Options menu allows the user to disable the game window's border.
  • User can exit the game from the title screen menu.
  • Added (currently unusable) controls menu.
  • Player weapons/bombs will damage enemies on hitting them based on their damage values.
  • Player weapons slow enemies on hitting them based on their knockback value.
  • Q and E are used to cycle between active items.
  • The currently selected active item will have a red cursor behind it in the pause menu.
  • The Black Knight boss has been temporarily added.
  • When a boss is on screen, it will show a health bar at the bottom of the screen.
  • Enemies can be afflicted with burning or poison status effects, which will deplete their health slowly.
